W. L. Hartgrove Buried Wednesday at Troy MARLIN, Der. 4 -SPL W. I, Hartgrove, 82, father of Mrs. Lee Faulkner, died in a Marlin hospital at 5:40 p. m. Tuesday. Dec. 2, following following an illness of about a year. He had been hospitalized here for a week. The .deceased was born at Elkmont, Elkmont, Limestone County, Ala., in October 18fi5. He came to Texas In 1910 and settled first in East Texas and then moved to Troy in 1912. He' was active as a brick mason in Central Texas and also engaged in farming. He had lived at Midland about a year before coming to Marlin about two months ago. Funeral services were held in Temple at 4 p. m. Wednesday, Rev. F. P. Goddard of Marlin officiating, officiating, assisted by the pastor of the Seventh Street Bartfl«* Church of Temple. Burial was in the cemetery at Troy. Surviving are one son, Eugene Hartgrove, Temple; four daughters, daughters, Mrs. Lee Faulkner and Mrs. G. C. Clem, both of Marlin, Mrs. G. O. Leftwich and Mrs. F. A. Hargrove, both of Midland; one brother, Henry I fart grove, of Summers; Summers; four half-brothers, W. R. Hartgrove, Childress; Vivian Hartgrove, Hartgrove, Omaha; Horace Hartgrove, Corpus Christi, and Claud Ilart- grove, Midland; and 32 grandchildren. grandchildren.
