3 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13,1996, at his residence. On March'24, 1904, in Darke County, Ohio, he was born to Levi and Lydia (Neff) Garber. On Feb. 21, 1925, he married Madge M. Reed, she survives. He worked 10 years for the C/0 Railroad, and then retired from Chrysler Corp..after 31 years. He was a member of Onward Christian Christian Church. Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcella and Glen Garrett Jr., Cape Coral, Fla., and Waneta and Earl Jenkins, Bunker Hill; two sons and daughters-in- law, Connie and Linda Garber, Bunker Hill, and Terry and Alice Garber, Peru; a brother, Lester Garber, Walton; a sister, Eva LaBounty, Wabash; nine grandchildren; grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were a daughter, two brothers, four sisters, and three grandchildren. grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home. Richard 'Pappy' Creitz Richard C. "Pappy" Creitz, 62, P.O. Box 156, Miami, died at 4:27 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13,1996, at St. Joseph Hospital & Health Center, On March 30, 1934, in Palmerton, Pa., he was born to Carmie and Beatrice (Jones) Creitz. He retired on May 31,1985, from Chrysler Corp. Transmission Plant, where he was an inspector. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Stephanie Creitz, Kokomo; a daughter, Sandy Avila, Kokomo; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be at U a.m. Thursday at fillers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. The Rev. Terry Fry will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton, Palmerton, Pa. Richmond St., died at 1 a.m. Monday, Monday, Aug. 12, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital Hospital & Health Center. Feb. 24, 1925, in Kokomo, he was born to Harry and Earlee (Armstrong) (Armstrong) Young. On April 19, 1958, in Kokomo, Kokomo, he married married Malline (Gillard) . , ' Young; she survives. He worked at the Speed Body Shop from 1966 to 1975. He attended attended Kokomo Public Schools. Also surviving are three daughters daughters and two sons-in-law, Sandra Young, Shelisha and Nathaniel Carr, and Tamatha and Von Kirby, all of Kokomo; two sisters, Corrine Ewing and Roslee Reece, both of Kokomo; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Saturday at Second Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Lee will officiate.
