Luckm Paul Black DELTA—Lucian Paul Black, 42. died i at his home In Delta Friday at 1 a.m. after a lingering Illness. H« was born July 18, 1909 In Deseret. Millard County, a son of Peter T. and Isabella; Bennett Black. He attended Deseret Deseret Elementary School and later waj Graduated from Delta High School. He married Dconna Church, Aug. 14, 1929, In the Salt Lake Temple. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and made Uieir home in Delia. He farmed and was employed by the cUy of Delta for 10 years as city mar- shall and later as watermaster. He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include his widow. Delta, and seven sons and daughters- Mrs Cheryl It ope r. Oak City, Millard County; Stanley L. Black, with the U. S. Navy, San Diego: Dorothy, Lorene, Pauline, Philip D. and John C. Black, all of Delta; his father, Peter T. Black. Delta: five brothers: Averno T. Black, Deseret; Nels C. Black and Golden H. Black, both of Delta; Harold Black, Salt Lake City, and LeCrande Black, Hinckley, Millard County; two sisters: Mrs. .Lllli£ E. Larson. Salt Lake City, and Sirs. Laura B. SVidmore, Martinez, Cal., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at : p.m. at Delta Second LDS Ward Chapel, by William S. Bassett, bishop.
