RAGBRAMV highlights on IPBN Mtdiu Mirror By IOWA TV EDITORS RAGBRAMV (The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across lowa-IV) will be featured tonight at 9 in the Iowa Public Broadcasting Network's (IPBN) "Assignment Iowa" series. The film was shot during last summer's seven-day ride from Sidney to Muscatine. An IPBN film crew speat most of the week, with the ride and shot additional footage in Jefferson before and after the riders stayed overnight there. The half-hour show is introduced by Mary Jane Odell, host for the "Assignment Iowa" series. The half-hour film shows the several facets of the annual ride - sunburn, sore knees, happy faces, incredulous incredulous townspeople, steep hills, piles of luggage, full campgrounds and lemonade stops. Also included are interviews with Register writers Donald Kaul and John Karras, hosts for the ride, on what the ride means to them. Also on IPBN, live coverage of the Pepsi Mixed Team Golf Championship Championship will be featured this week. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, and also at one p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, the final two rounds of this golf tournament will presented from the "Blue Monster" course at the Doral Country Club in Miami, Fla. "Double Dare," a new game series begins Monday at 10 a.m. on CBS. Host for the program is Alex Trebek, formerly of the "Wizard of Odds" and "High Rollers." The show replaces "Gambit."
