Lightning Kills Four, Hurts Two MAYFIELD, Ky., Sept 2—(AP) Four men were killed and two seriously seriously injured today when struck by a bolt of lightning. A seventh man was hit but not seriously hurt by the bolt Brown McCIain, coroner, said the men were housing tobacco on the farm of J. A. Parks, two miles south of here, when the bolt struck them. The barn was not damaged but one of the two mules hooked to a wagon containing the tobacco was seriously injured. Coroner McCIain listed the dead i: U. P. Lamb, 24 yean old. and his brother, L. B. Lamb, 19; C. B. Haley. 40, and Raymond Blalock, 20. Truman Sims, 24, and Beckham Goodlett, 39, both were in the May field Hospital in a serious condi tion. The seventh man. Willie Hendon, 33, was only slightly shocked. Hendon was able to run from the barn to the farm house and call for aid. ^
