were in Holland costume. H Norwood Art Club. l.ivjie. uuica reception was given at the borne of Miss Elsie Basson In Ashland avenue by the Norwood Art Club on Monday afternoon. The house and serving tables were beautifully beautifully decorated with tulips, the Holland flower. The hostess was very charming in pink and green and represented Queen Wil- Wil- helmina. while all trie members of the club Mrs. E. H. Seaman, tbe President, and Miss Basson pourned the chocolate and " . T J7 ... -. -. " " ". airs, a- a- rvi pronieu over ue real Dutch gingerbread and raisin cake. . Mrs. D. G-. G-. G-. Zoller, dressed as a flower girl with wooden shoes and flower baskets, gave a very entertaining account of her observations observations in the land of dykes and windmills, while Mrs. W. H. Campbell. Misses liaxel Hawkins, Florence Enneking, Marjory Pope and Ethel Diggs sang wry sweetly "Winkin". Bllnkin' and Nod." Mrs. Walter Beecher and Mrs. Llewellyn Evans were at tbe piano. The exhibit of art work by the Club members was praised by the hundred guests who called during the afternoon.
