j. M. Bowman Funeral (or J M Bowman, 72. of 130] Cottage will be at 2 p m today in the Central United Methodist Church with the Rev Ray Elliott, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery in Comanche County under the direction of Wright's Funeral Home. Mr Bowman, who had lived at Brownwood 26 years, was dead on arrival at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Brownwood Community Community Hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1899 at Comanche, he married Opha Richardson there in 1923. A Methodist, he was a retired employe of Brow-nwood Television Cable Service Inc. Survivors include his wife; Iwo daughters, Mrs. Harold Dillashaw Jr. of San Antonio and Mrs. Wayne Parsons of Temple; five sons, C. L. Bowman of Cullman, Ala., James W. Bowman of Hermleigh, Hermleigh, Preston L. Bowman of Midland. Rev. Glenn C. Bowman of Coleman and L. B. Bowman of Brownwood; one sister. Mrs. Frank Steel of Humble; two brothers. A. E. Bowman of Brownwood and R. L. Bowman of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren and six great- urandchildren.
