February Holiday Birthdays Present Maze of Problems STEWART PATTON WOOLDRIDGE BERNER February is the month of birthdays of famous people. Not claiming fame as yet but having their birthdays on the same days as Lincoln or Washington are Mary Stewart, Bill Patton and Mary Kay Berner, sophomores, and Karen Wooldridge, a junior. "I wasn't named after Mary Todd," said Mary, who was born on Feb. 12. She is celebrating by attending the Sweetheart Formal. Bill's 14-year-old brother. Dick, didn't want Bill to have the only famous birthday in the family. Bill was born on Lincoln's birthday and Dick was born on the anniversary of Lincoln's assassination. Karen is glad the 12th falls on a Saturday this year. Her mother gets the holiday off from work on Karen's birthday, but Karen usually has to attend school. Mary Kay, a sophomore, feels neglected on her birthday because she doesn't get any mail. The mailmen have a holiday on Feb. 22, Washington's birthday.
