• on Vacation ,Mr. and Mrs. Vick Collins and family of Bunch Oklahoma, ce- icently returned from a vacation to the west coast, where they visited visited friends and relatives. The Collins family left their home m Bunch July 30, > and -drove through Mexico and Arizona Arizona to Los Angeles, California, where they vlsitrid Mrs. Collins' mother, Mrs. flora A. Davidson, and her sister and family. From Los Angeles, they drove through northern California and Oregon to Goldendale, Washington, Washington, where they visited Mrs. Collins' Collins' brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Davidson. Mrs. Davidson Davidson is the daughter of the late W. L. Ehipps, agent and operator for the Kansas City Southern Railway Railway Company at Bunch for many years. While at Goldendale, the family traveled the "Old Oregon Trail" highway to Bonneville . I?am, fish hatchery, and salmon •counting station. They viewed Multnomah Falls,- crossing the Columbia River on the Bridge of the Gods, and returned to Goldendale Goldendale an the Washington side of the river looking at the Columbia Gorge for both Oregon and Washington. They toured the Yakima Valley Valley and made the scenic drive to view JVlount Rainer from-Yakima Park, where the children played in,the snow. They ate and saw .salmon dipped from the Columbia River at Celilo Falls by the Yakima Indians, Indians, and picked, ate; and saw apricots canned from orchards at Goodnoe Hills. After a ten-day visit in Goldendale, Goldendale, the Collins returned home by way of Oregon, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, . and Oklahoma to Bunch, where Collins will resume his work as a section laborer for the Kansas City Southern Railway Company.
