-^A-2 Prograss-Bulletin, Pomona, Californio, Girl dead for TO years 2 jailed in probe of human bones S ) - A FONTANA (UPI) - An 11 month investigation that started last July with the discovery of human bones in hills south of here culminated Friday in the arest of a divorced couple, Antonio Rivera, 38, Colton, and Merla Rivera, 35, Fontana. They were arrested at their respective homes Friday. A coroner’s inquest determined the bones were those of Judy Rivera, who was about three years old at the time of her death nearly 10 years ago. The bones were fourd in a sbalcw grave last July 1 by a S.B. teachers passer - by after r a i a had washed soil from the top of the grave. No missing persons report had ever been filed for the child, and it was not until three months ago that authorities began to suspect the bones were those of Judy Rivera. At that time, police began questioning other children of the Riveras who had grown and moved to other parts of Southern California. Recently sufficient evidence was gathered to turn the matter over to a coroner’s jury for inquest. Charges in connection with the death were to be filed later Friday.
