Briggs-Hoover. Briggs-Hoover. Briggs-Hoover. A beautiful home wedding oc curred Wednesday evening, June 29, at the home of the bride, 1419 Nineteenth Nineteenth avenue. Using the impressive ring ceremony of the Methodist Episcopal Episcopal church, Rev. B. C. Conner united in holy matrimony Mr. Lewis F. Briggs and Miss Amanda I Hoover, both of this city. Mr. Briggs is one' of the skillful carpenters of Altoona, and is an industrious, honorable gen tleman. Miss Hoover is a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and is a most estimable young lady. After hearty congratulations on the part of relatives and friends present, all enjoyed enjoyed the elegant refreshments bountifully bountifully provided. Mr. and Mrs. Briggs will go to housekeeping at once at 808 Chestnut avenue. Their many friends unite in extending hearty congratulations, and best wishes for a happy and safe journey together through life. They were attended attended by Mr. George W. Adams, of this city, and Miss Alice Hoover, sister sister of the bride.
