NEWS OF MORAN Marriage ;oI Miss Evelyn Whitlow and ;Mr. Dewey Pinkston of Inierest to Friends MORAN, June 1.—A very pretty wedding .-was solemnized Simday when Mis4 Evelyn Whitlow daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Whitlow became became the bride of Mr. Dewey Pinkston Pinkston at the home of Miss Whitlows parents Just southwest of town. The single ring service was read by Rev. R. M. Brady pastor of the Methodist church in the presence of the brides family and a few cl6se friends. Mrs. Frank Martin a sister of the bride played the accompaniment for her Uttle daughter Martha Ann Martin, who sang; an "Indian Love Song" preceding ; the ceremony and also played' the Lohengrin "Wedding March" as the bride and groom accompanied accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hite entered the living room where the marriage vows were Exchanged. The bride bora and raised here is. a graduate graduate of the Moran lilgh school, also a graduate of the lola junior college college and jook a tochers training course at the Emporia Teachers college college and fpr the past two years has taught veey successfully at Prairie Hall. Witlt a fine personality and a keen interest in her friends Miss Whitlow hjis surrounded herself with a wide circle of friiends who hold her in W^hest esteem. From the church where she has been a loyal member and a fine' leader among the young ^)eople she will be greatly missed. The groom is not general^ known her^ but those who have met him regard him as. worthy of his bride and- all join in wishing for them the pest that can possibly be their's as they go to their home.in Emporia where the groom is engaged in business.
