a 1b Bert Arnold Dies Suddenly At Home Here Bert Arnold; 65, died suddenly at 6:10 a. m. today at bis honte, lis East Fifth Street, of a heart attack, Although Mr. Arnold hacLeuffered other attacks over the last few years, he seemed in: good health when he awakened this morning. After breakfast he complained of a severe pain in his shoulder11 and died in a chair a few minutes later. v The son 'james'T. ana Nancy Arnold, he was born at Albert, Ind., lug. 8, 1887. He was married to Cora Lane Nov. 1, 1913. Baseball Player Mr. Arnold attended the First Methodist Church and had lived his in tire life in Alexandria. He was a .'ormer boiler maker with the Paper Mill here for 20 years and worked 18 years with Johns-Manville. Johns-Manville. Johns-Manville. He retired eight years ago. Mr. Arnold was an outstanding baseball player with the old William Hidy team here many years ago. Survivors are the widow, Cora; i laughter, Mrs. Vivian Fromholz, Elwood; Elwood; a son, Ouy Robert, Muncle a brother, Harley Arnold, Aledo, 111; and three grandchildren. The body was removed to the Davis and Stricter Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. Clayton Steele, First Me thodist Church pastor. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery.
