Redlands Daily Facts MOIL, Dec. 14, 1964 - 5 Chester Jordan suffers fatal attack in boat Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Chester A. Jordan, a longtime resident of Redlands, who-apparently suffered a fatal heart attack Saturday while boating on the Salton Sea. Imperial County sheriff's deputies said Mr. Jordan was taken to Pioneer Hospital in Brawley, where he died. An autopsy was scheduled today to verify the cause of death. Mr. Jordan, a native of Arizona, resided at 137 Hastings. He lived in Redlands for 35 years and was 74 at the time of his death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arizona and the Carpenter's Union ol San Bernardino. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pauline Jordan of Redlands; one son, Darrell C. Jordan ol Redlands; one brother, Walter E. Jordan of Arizona, and three sisters. Miss Stella M. Jordan, Mrs. Alice L Gay and Mrs. Mary C. Flanigan, all of Arizona. Graveside services wiU b e held at 3 p.m. Wednesday aX Hillside Memorial Park, F. Arthur Cortner Chapel in charge.
