. Trial of John Allen. , John Allen. J colored, one of the discharged discharged firemen, waa injured at a North Delaware street ' fire. Ha was knocked from a ladder by a nozzle striking him, and his wrist was - broken. The Injury rendered him incapable of work. Ills case was called next. He was charged with drinking and inefficiency. - He employed Dr. Stuckey, who said Dr. Christian had not set the wrist properly. Allen denied ever being drunk, and said he did nor drlr.k. He said his hand .was still stiff, but had Improved, and he could now do his work.
