Boyertown Water Works. The Montgomery Montgomery Ledger says the Boyertown Water Company has recently put into operation a new set of water works, those heretofore in use having been found inadequate to supply the town in its rapidly growing slate, A small stream of water known as Sohaffer'sKtin, has been transformed into a miniature dam, the water from which drivs an eight foot overshot overshot water, wheel, which forces a two inch stream into a large tank elevated some 60 feet above the dam. This supply, in addition to the works to the north ofthe borough, which have been in operation some 15 years or more, is found amply sufficient to furnish the town with water for some years (o come.
