Herbst, Millie, 1903 lawsuit
Judge Stewart heard the case of Jacob D. Herbst against Milton II. Sevls. . In this case Hc-bst'8 daughter worked for Sevls. She was under twenty-one, but collected her waees. I ater Herbst, her father, began suing for her wages and secured several judgments to the amount of about $80. This was only stopped by an Injunction secured by Sevls. Millie Herbst, the plaintiff's daughter, sat with Sevls and was one of his most useful witnesses. She claims she was driven from home and does not want to go back.
