Florence A, Parks Mrs. Florence A. Parks, 74, of Mapleton Depot R.D., died Thursday, May l, 1980, at 11:10 p.m. in the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, Huntingdon, where she had been a patient for five weeks. She had been in failing health for several years. Born Jan. 21,1906, in Mount Union R.D., she was the daughter of William and Ida (Warnick) Miller. She was .united in marriage with Chester C. Parks in Cumberland, Cumberland, Md., on Sept. 22,1922. Her husband survives. Also surviving are the following children: Paul Parks of Huntingdon; Mrs. Robert E. (Mary) Querry and Mrs. Roy (Peggy) Waite, both of Mapleton Depot R.D.; Mrs. Herbert (Beatrice) Carson of Greencastle; Mrs. John (Betty) Stever of Lakemont; Edwin Parks of Wilmington, Del.; Jesse Parks of Mapleton Depot; Maurice Parks of Newark, Del.; Mrs. Dale (Helen) Glunt of Shade Gap R.D.; William Parks of Orrstown; and Robert Parks of Doylesburg. There are a half - brother and half - sister, Theodore Hammond of Somerset and Mrs. Delia Baker of Kissimmee, Fla.; 39 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. in the Cornelius Chapel of the . United Methodist Church, Mapleton Depot R.D., with the Revs. Jerry A. Cline and Robert E. Shaffer officiating. Interment will be in the Cornelius Chapel Cemetery, by the church. Friends will be received at the Robert I. McClain Funeral Home, Cassville, from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening and from 10 to 12 a.m. Sunday. There will be no viewing at the church.
