Thomas Benford, colored, 106 years old, an old slave, died at his home in Pittsburg, 311 West Eleventh street, at 2:30 o'clock this morning, after being confined to his bed four days, prior to which time he had been in poor health for nearly a year, says the Pittsburg Headlight.
