Berg Berg services Services for Richard L. "Dicky" Berg, 78, 908 N. Berkley Road, are at 10:30 i a.m. Wednesday in Ellers Mortuary. The Rev. Richard Girton Girton will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum with military rites. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary, where Masonic services will be con- ductedat7:30p.m. Berg died Saturday, April 25, 1992, in his home. He was born March 19, 1914, in Detroit, the son of William and Maple (Sutphin) Berg. Sept. 19,1939, he married Frances L. Slabaugh, who survives. Berg retired in 1977 as a from the U.S. Postal Service after 28 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. Pacific. He was a member of Howard Masonic Lodge 93, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 89. Also surviving are two sons, Jack Berg of Kokomo and Richard Berg of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
