APRIL 13, 1938 M2 Sus Victim Job expected death of army J. F. Morgan Dies; Made Casket Of Nation's Unknown Soldier Joseph F. Morgan, 71, of 70 Mid- Mid- wood St, head of the Morgan Casket Casket Company. 572 Park Ave, which furnished the casket for the Un known Soldier in Washington, died suddenly ot a heart attack Satur day while dining In a restaurant. Mr. Morgan was bom in Brook lyn and was a leading Independent casket manufacturer. He introduced introduced the idea of manufacturing casket ot wood pulp fiber, which answered the demand for a seamless seamless casket. He was in business for about 40 years and during the World War furnished 20,000 caskets to the Government Government to bring back American soldiers who died in France. Surviving are hit widow, Margaret Morgan; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Reerdon, and three sons, Joseph, Vincent and Klngdon. Services will be held tomorrow afternoon.
