Town-COuntiy Shamrocks Win 4-H Contest Here The Town and Country Shamrocks 4-H Club won the Sharelhe-Fun Contest and Cindy Bryan won the M.C. Contest at the Annual 4-H Sluire-thc-Fun Contest held h'riday night, May 3. t^indy is a member of the llum'.s Grove Sunny Pilgrims 4-H Club. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bryan. The first alternate is Cindy Cornwell of the Town and Country, Shamrocks and second alternate is Julie Stewart of the Rangerej^es 4-H Club. "Raindrops" was the name of the act presented by the Town and Country Shamrocks. The leaders of the club are Mrs. Ardejl Kimmel and Mrs. Jean Estes. First alternate to State Fair is "A Present for the Princess" by the Highlanders Highlanders 4-H Club. The leaders are Mrs. Dorothy Stubblefield and Mrs. Velma Felton. The second alternate is "Sunrise-Sunset" by the Kan-Did 4-H Club. The leaders are Mrs. Nina Dare, Mrs. Coral Laughmiller, Mrs. Myrtle Beal, and Mrs. Carolyn Dagg. The State Contest will be held Friday, August 9. Other clubs receiving an "A" rating were: 4-H Clovers, Rend Lake Midgets, : Ham's Grove Sunny Pilgrims, Centerfield Ramblers and Texico Top Notchers, Woodlawn Woodchucks, Woodchucks, Opdyke Lincoln Trailers^ Peace Makers, Old Union Rams, Gun Creek Puddle Jumpers, Belle Rive Prairie Wranglers, and Farrington 4-H'ers. Those receiving a "B" CINDY BRYAN rating were: Rangerettes. Camp Ground Golden Rule, Liberty Eagles, Marlow Cardinals, and Waltonville Bulldogs. LIK€
