MERCURY attended th. assemblies Schwenke-Holtas Rites Solemnized In Praha Church In a simple but beautiful double- ring ceremony in Assumption oi The Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church at Praha Monday morning, June 27, Miss Adeila Schwenke and Kenneth Hollas exchanged marriage vows. Rev. Julius Petru officiated in the ceremony and said the Nuptial Mass which followed. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Schwenke of Schulenburg and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Otto R. Hollas, of Weimar. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a dress of chantilly lace and net over taffeta, designed with a fitted waist, which featured an illusion net yoke set off with scallops and a Queen Anne's collar. The long lace sleeves came to points over the wrists and the full gathered skirt was styled with two lace insertions. Her lace-edged fingertip fingertip veil was attached to a scalloped scalloped crown set with rhinestones and she carried a bouquet of white lilies- of-the-valley and carnations. Mrs. Emil Schwenke, matron of honor, wore a blue net-over-taffeta gown and carried a fan-shaped bouquet bouquet of pink carnations. Bridesmaids were Misses Barbara Jean Hollas, Darlenc Heinrich, Juanita Dem el, Gladys Shimck and Bernice Kouza. They wore pink net-over-taffeta >wns and carried fan-shaped bou- lets of blue carnations. The attendants' dresses were made ith fitted bodices, which featured yokes set off with ruffles. The floor length skirts were enhanced with uffte Best i they : ruffled headpieces. Emil Schwenke and nsmen were Fred Schram, Eu- Kainer, Mrtvin Adamek, Dannie nann and Milton Konza. Emil Kobza and R. K. Hollas of Frisco Flower girl was Rita Gassmann, vho wore a white dress made Identl- :al to the other attendants and car- led a white carnation bouquet. Harlan Harlan Kobza, dressed in a white suit, in a satin pillow. The couple was honored with an ill-day reception at the home of the bride's parents and at night they honored with a dance at the Praha Pavilion. The bride's table was centered 1th a square four-tiered confection topped with a miniature bride and gro.
