WILLIAM W. AVEN William W Aven. 73, native native of McKinney, was born May 7. 1897. the son of Eli and Melcena Anderson Aven. and died Sunday in a McKinney hospital. He had lived in the Josephine area most of his life, where he as a member of the First Baptist Church He married Nellie McCarty McCarty Dec. 17. 1917 who died Dec. 6. 1964. Surviving art* two daughters, daughters, Mrs. W P. Hardin, Royse City; Mrs. Paul Coleman. Josephine; five grandchildren. seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edgar Lee Aven, Greenville; L H. Aven. Wei land; uncle, Joe Aven of McKinney and a niece Mrs Don Lampley of El Campo. His parents, a brother and sister also preceded him in death. Funeral services are 2 30 Tuesday at the First- Baptist Church in Josephine, Josephine, conducted by Rev. Bill Probasco. Rev Bill McFatridge and Rev. Maurice Maurice Hill with burial in the IOOF cemetery at Caddo Mills. Royst City Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers are David Dodson. Bill Holmes. G1 ynn Dodson Jack Townsend.W S. Sebastian.
