Sierra-Ca- Henricksen, Encino BPW Club Plans Induction of New Leaders Encino Business and Professional Women are planning an initiation ceremony for the dinner meeting Thursday to be held at the Fireside Inn. Velma Oberst, president, will greet members and guests. Marion Burbridge, junior past president of Tri-Valley District, will conduct the formal ceremony assisted by Irene Luedeke, membership chairman, and past presidents Amy White Fixler, Mary Swenson, Clare Workman and Kay Windham. New members participating are Jane Sekela, Elsie Stephan, Sally Gibson, Jane Colburn and Elizabeth Luk- shious. Armen K a s s a r senior member of the group, will complete the evening's program with a vivid account of her travels through the middle east. A r m e n s p e n months behind the Iron Curtain visiting Moscow, Tibilisi and, Kiev in Russia. Born in Erivan, Armenia, her tour included a visit her homeland and Istanbul, Turkey.
