Texas man admits to killing women . COFFEYVILLE—A 30-year-old Irving, Texas, man, who was charged charged with the murders of his grandmother grandmother and aunt in Coffeyville, has admitted to the slayings, Irving police officials said Friday. - Capt. Irving police also recovered $14,600 in cash and cashiers checks that Hall said had been taken from the house. On Thursday, Coffeyville police found Florence Royse, 87, and her daughter, Elsie Jean Hinthorn, 70, dead in Royse's house. Autopsies showed that Royse had been strangled strangled and Hinthorn died of a blow to the upper body, according to Montgomery Montgomery County Coroner James Wilson. Royse was charged Friday with two counts of first-degree murder and is being held in the Irving city jail on two $500,000 bonds, said Anna Ayala, an Irving jail spokeswoman.
