U.S. had the commander of U.S. forces in Filing Formal Protest City to Seek to Retain Train and Plane Service The Cly of Moberly will for- nally protest the pro|K)scl re- noval by the Norfolk and Western Railway Co. of Trains 209 ind 210, which provide the last V and W passenger service in Missouri. At a regular meeting of the city council last niglil, Mayor Howard S. Frisbie asked Cily Counselor Marion E. Lamb to prepare a formal protest and submit it to the Public Service Commission. Mayor Frisbie had slated several days ago that he planned to attend a PSC hearing in Jefferson City Monday of next week in opposition to Hie removal of the trains, which go through Mobcrly. Want Air Service . Mayor Frisbie also requested the city staff to determine the passenger use of Ozark Air Lines here. Ozark has been authorized by the Civil Aeronautics Board to drop Moberly from its schedule. Moberly does not want to lose this service, however, and cllj officials are eager to determine recent usage, which reportedly has been stronger than at timei in flic past.
