HELEN BROOKS Here 9 n Neuckranrcs Home A driving rain pelted Mrs. Neuckranz and her 2 sons as drove through Alabama Sunday, but fortunately they passed through Birmingham 4 hours ahead of the devastating tornado. They reached their home, 219 Elm, Monday, loaded down with a better than average accumulation of souvenirs. If the ooys' grandfather, Tom Sawyer, in any way resembles the fabled Mark Twain character, you know young Tom had himself a picnic during his entire stay. His brother, Richard, is only 14 months old, so there were times when he couldn't quite manage to keep Mrs. Diane Neuckranz' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer, are retired and maintain a year around home at Hudson, which is not far from Tampa. Mrs, Neuckranz claims that sbe had a grand rest. What is good news, too, is that she has fully recovered from last summer's polio attack.
