Vows Pledged at Presk*'terian Church Baskets of white carnations and white gladioli adorned the United Presbyterian Church for the double ring wedding, ceremony ceremony Dec. 21 uniting Patricia Dunham Dunham in marriage with Lee A. Richardson. The bride was given in marriage marriage by her brother, Delmer Dunham, Dunham, 1907 N. Main. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Richardson, 1009 N. 4th. Officiating for the solemnization solemnization of the vows was the Rev. J. Mcrion Kadyk. Organisi. Mrs. Clnude Robinson played the wedding wedding marches. Mrs. Connie Haverfield, 821 Bancroft, as matron of honor wore a royal blue sheath and jacket jacket dress of sheer brocade satin. Her matching hat was fashioned of tulle and she carried a single long stemmed white mum. Velma Dunham, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. She was dressed in identical sty.ling and color to the matron of honor. Flower girl was Dec Dee Hummer, Hummer, who was attired in an Aline Aline dress of royal blue sheer brocade brocade satin with matching headband. headband. Craig Myers, cousin of the bridegroom, carried the rings on a large white mum. Serving as best man was Don Walker. Groomsman was Kent Hummer and ushers were Danny Dunham, David Walsh, Marlin Jones and Roger Purdy, all of Garden City. The bride wore a regal floor- length wedding gown styled of floral bridal lace over white satin satin Her fitted bodice was enhanced enhanced with a bateau neckline and long fitted sleeves. Her bell shaped shaped skirt extended to aisle width over hoops. Her elbow length veil fell from a princess crown. RICHARDSON pink penoe roses and the grandmother grandmother had a corsage of white cainations. The reception was given in the basement of the church. The four-tiered white wedding cake was madt by Mrs. W. F. Meier. It was trimmed with bhu and white bells. On the top were left hands showing wedding rings. Pouring punch was Mrs. Betty Carney. Serving cake were Mrs. Karen Dunham and Nancy Richardson. Richardson. Attending the gift table were Carol Swartlcy and Ruby Simmons. Presiding at the guest book was Mrs. Kent Hummer. The bride is a graduate of Garden Garden City High School and Garden Garden City Junior College. She is bookkeeper for the Singer Co. Her bridegroom is a graduate of Garden City High School and is employed with the Garden City Ice Co. They will be at home at 915V4 N. 8th. Out of town guests at the wed ding were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dunham, Central City, Neb., Mrs. Joseph E. Carney, Jo and Andy, Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Vernon Richardson and Cheryl, Wichita; Wichita; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Smith, Denver, Colo.; Mr. and Urs. Emanuel Nordin, Rodney ttordin, Janet and Don Deck, North Platte, Neb., and Nancy Richardson, Chicago, 111. Rich and good: Heat light cream and mix with very hot strong coffee and chocolate syrup. For each serving, use \4 cup of the cream, V4 cup of the coffee and a couple of tablespoons tablespoons of the chocolate syrup. If you like, top with a fluff of whipped whipped cream, but this is really gilding the lily! Be sure to toast sesame seed, for best flavor, before adding it to pastry for pies. You art walcoma ST.
