Blind Aid Business Said Lottery Front (By United Press) OAKLAND, Aug. 30 Three men identified as representatives of the Blindcraft home, which provides work for blind persons, were arrested today on charges of operating a lottery in which, District Attorney Ralph Hoyt said, Blind-craft was used as a front. O. E. Van Austen, an official at the home, however, insisted that the Blindcraft benefit was not a lottery but actually a benefit entertainment operated "on the principle of a movie bank night."
