OFFICERS NAB THREE ISO Gallons of Mash Found at First Piece and 2 Gallons of Marijuana at Other. Two 1-gallon cans full of Marijuana, a quantity of the narcotic cigarettes, and three stills cleverly hidden in an underground recess were seized by the Oxnard Police department in a series of Christmas raids starting last night and culminating this morning. It was announced by Chief of Police H. W. Johnson today. The residence at 119 McKinley. ave: nue was raided at 9 o'clock last night. j The inside of the house in Colon ia. Antonia Hernandez, elderly mother of Jose, is living at 830 A street. Investigation this morning revealed the fact that the" mother and son had been: ordered out of town two years ago in connection with a -marijuana ring. Offi cers Ker rick, McCoy and Pryor raided the residence this morning and confiscated two: 1-gallon cans full or the narcotic weed and a quantity fo cigarettes. Jose Hernandez may be turned, over to the Federal officers to face narcotic charges.
