Mrs. Lois Zupan Mrs. Lois Zupan, n resident of Wood River until about a year ago, died Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. in Methodist Hospital at Houston, Houston, Tex., following a three months illness. She was the wife of William James Zupan, a construction construction worker. Mrs. Zupan, who was the mother of two children, Kathy, 6, and Tommy, 5, was born at Winchester, July 5. 1917, a daughter of the late John Bates and Mrs. Carrie Flynn Bates. Her mother resides at Winchester. Winchester. Surviving in addition to her husband and children and mother, mother, are a brother, John Bates of Wood 1 River, and two sisters, Mrs. Beverly Evans, Winchester, and Mrs. Louise Bradford, San Diego, Calif. She was a member of American American Legion Auxiliary 127 of De, Sot a, Mo. The body has been brought to Wood River and is at Smith Funeral Funeral Home where friends may call after 7:30 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited.Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Funeral rites will be conducted Saturday Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church. Wood River. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
