Ceremony | 30 Years Ago! Repeated HISTORY will repeat In the wedding of Edith Brown, daug- ter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Brown, southwest of Hutchinson,- and Kenneth B. Foster, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Foster, Anthony, in the Brown home at 1 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. Roy Corrie of Burrton will read the vows, using the same ceremony he used when he officiated at the wedding of the bride's parents, 30 years ago this month. Included in the guests at the wedding today are 16 who attended the ceremony a generation ago. White tapers in tall candelabra at cither end of the gladioli and palm-banked altar will light the scene. Preceding the ceremony Mrs. John S. Woolcott of Harrisburg, 11!.. will sing "Because" by d'Hardclot and Bond's "I Love You Truly." Betty Haney of Partridge, violinist, will play ''Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life," by Herbert. Mrs. Walter Peirce Jr., Hutchinson, will be accompanist for the two. During the ceremony Miss Haney will play "My Heart at Thy Sweet Voice," by Saint-Saens. Wagner's Mendelssohn's wedding music will be used for processional and at the close of the service. Esther Brown, sister of the bride, and Keith C. Foster, brother of the bridegroom, will be the attendants. Donald Hamilton of Partridge will be ring bearer. Bride in Pink Lace The bride will be given in marriage by her father. She will wear a gown of pink-silk lace over taffeta made with full, flared skirt, puffed sleeves and low v-neckline. Her pink net veil, fingertip length, will be held by a halo of orange blossoms and her bouquet will be Johanna Hill roses. Her sister will wear aqua blue lace over taffeta made similar to the bride's. Her bouquet will be pink roses. Mrs. Wilbur W. Kent of Beloit Will light the candles. She will wear yellow net over taffeta made with fitted bodice, puffed sleeves •nd full skirt. The bride's mother will wear navy crepe with a contrasting corsage and Mrs. Foster's dress will be of British tan with blending corsage. A two-course wedding dinner will be served after the ceremony. The table, spread with a lace cloth, will be centered with the wedding cake which is to be topped with a miniature bride and bridegroom. A low bowl of flowers will be at either side of the cake. Trip (o Ozarks The couple will leave this afternoon for a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Ark., and other places in the Ozarks. For traveling the bride will wear a suit of olive green knit with black accessories. After September 25 they will be at home in Anthony where Mr. Foster is in the laundry and dry cleaning business. Miss Brown attended Hutchinson junior college and Kansas Stale college, Manhattan. The last three years she has been home economics Instructor in Anthony high school. Mr. Foster is a graduate of Anthony high school, attended Wichita business college and Wichita University where he was affiliated with Webster social fraternity. Out-of-town guests at the wedding will be Mr. and Mrs. C. H, Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Burchfiel and son, Stanley, of Anthony; Mr. and Mrs. Woolcott of Harrisburg, 111.; Dr. and Mrs. S. A. Kelsall of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur W. Kent, Beloit; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wilcox, Spring Hill; Mr. and Mis. R. B. Wills and Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Cooper, Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Brown, Kansas City; Mr. and Mrs. Myron Greep, Langford; Mr. and Mrs. Max Jones, Randall; Mr. and Mrs. L. E, Cranston, Augusta. • » •
