Mr. Maxwell, whosr name was given to the Maxwell automobile, originated by him and manufactured by the company company of which he was president, was associated with Elmer Apperson and Elwoocl Halnes in building the machine believed to have been the uredccesbur of t h e modern automobile Before his Interest In automobile.' was aroused.
