Sarah and Samael Lundberg, was born September 9, 1895, in New Gottland township^ McPherson county, Kansas. H« died January 1, 1954, at the St. Joseph's hospital hospital at Concordia at the age of B 8 years, 3 months and 22 days. He was married to Clara Phillippi Phillippi in 1915. To this union five children were born. He moved to the Belleville com-' munity IB years ago. , He was a member of the Lutheran church at New Gottland and belonged to the LO.O.F. " He is survived by his children, Mrs.' Lola Breth, Mrs. Launetta Rose, Mrs. Lauvon Christie of Wichita; Mrs. Lois Mason of Springfield, Colo., and John Lundberg Lundberg of Whitesville, Mo.; and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services were hold at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart chapel in Belleville January 3 with the Rev. Frank Gilder, pastor of the Wo.s- leyan Methodist church, in charge. Interment v/as made January 4 at McPherson cemetery, McPherson, Kansas. . Lovewell Mr.^. Biilinp: and Millard Millard entertained the following for dinner Wednesday: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smies and family and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Smies, Mary and Bill, Mary Smies returned to her school work at K-State, Sunday. Capt. and Mrs. Howard Kittor- mnn and family, who had spent four days at the E. H. Smies home, returned to Manhattan Monday. Henry Smies family had New Year's diinior at the Ralph Jacobson Jacobson home in Montrose. Mr. and Mrs. Iver Warren and family spent Sunday with Mrs. Stella Leece and Ivan. Gary Smith of Courtland visited the first of .the week with Delmar. Doxon. t Mr. and Mrs. E. H.
