Florence Crownover Florence B. Crownover, 85, of Creekside RD 1, Washington Township, Township, died Saturday, July 26,1997, in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. -..-•..:• Born Feb. 8, 1912, in Armstrong County, she was the daughter of John T. and Alice G. Matthews Keeler. .',.". . •'••.•. .;••;•. • -- : -; - . • ...' • Mrs. Crownover was a member of the Plumcreek Church of the Brethren Brethren and a former member of the Girty Grange. She was a homemaker homemaker who enjoyed gardening and sewing- sewing- Surviving are one son, Donald L. Crownover, Kittanning RD 1; two daughters: Mrs. Charles (Louise) Jewart, Creekside RD 1; Mrs. Joseph Joseph E. (Charlotte) Ruffner, Shelocta; Shelocta; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: sisters: Mrs. Mae Downey, Shelocta; and Mrs. Russell (Pearl) Niehenke, Creekside RD 1. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin R. Crownover, who died in 1983; one son, Wendell B. Crownover; one grandson, Thomas Crownover; four brothers: Raymond Raymond Keeler; Delone Keeler, Charles "Clayton" Keeler, and Edward Edward Keeler; and two sisters: Mrs. Virginia Bark arid Ruth Keeler. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clark Chapel, Elderton, where funeral ceremonies ceremonies will take, place 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Chalmer Dilling will officiate and interment will take place in the Elderton Cemetery, Armstrong County.
