Matheson, West Point, for first place in the World's Fair intercollegiate chess tournament today. Grigorieff defeated Martin C. The players delayed their schedule yesterday in order to permit Dr. Alex ander Alekhlne, of Paris, to give a blindfold exhibition in which he won 19 games, drew nine and lost four.
