Mrs. Ar- :hur Starkey and Mlts Emma Witt- ket gave the report of the convention at Huichinson. The devotionals were in charge of Miss Roberta Works and Bottle Scrlbner was in charge of the music. The Girl Reserves presented a three-act play directed by Sara Jean Oliver, Helen Yenzer and Roberta Works. Fifty persons \vere present, including the girls of the seventh and eighth grades. Pictures were shown on the screen and refreshments were served by Mrs. Starkey, Mrs. Owens, Mrs. Nevitt and Mrs. Cooley, assisted by four Girl Reserves. Glub Luncheon Special to The Gazette: Saffordville, March 5—The W. W. W. club was entertained Tuesday at an all day meeting at the home of Mrs. W. H. Woolwine. Eight members were present. A covered dish luncheon was served at noon. The day was spent working for Mrs. Woolwine. The next meeting will be held March 15 with, Mrs. Carl O'Daniel. Entertain For California Visitors Sped»! To Till Quell*: Saffordville, March 5 — Mr. and Mrs. Prank Estey, of California, who have been visiting relatives and friends for three months, and who will leave soon for their home, were the honored guests at a party Wednesday evening at Hie home of Olive Woolwine, with Mrs. Prank Garrison, Mrs. James O'Daniel, and Mrs. DeWayne Lind as hostesses. The evening was spent playing games and favors were received by all the guests. Refreshments wera served. Those present were; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Estey, Mr. and Mrs. William Bradbury and son, Jerry, Mr. and Mrs. Howard ImMasche, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Llnd »nd sons, John Allan nnd Derald Arvin, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. O'Daniel, Mr. and Mrs, C. D. Lind, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hanson, Wilbur Kyle, Philip Beyer, Mrs. W. H. Woolwine, Mr. and Mrs. Carl O'Daniel, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Garrison and Miss Olive Woolwine. Mrs. Finley Lambert entertained the members of her club Wednesday afternoon at her home. Five members were present and Mrs. R. L. Albin was a guest. The afternoon was spent working for the host.
