Cecil Oats DEPORT — Cecil Oats of Cunningham Cunningham died Wednesday, May 7, at Deport Nursing Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Friday, May 9, at the Life Tabernacle Church in Cunningham with the Rev. Don and the Rev. Lyndol Whitt officiating. officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Cunningham by Grant Funeral Home. Mr. Oats was born Dec. 10,1904, in Cunningham, a daughter of Lee and Ida Bledsoe Oats. He married LJada Landrum. She died in 1970. Surviving are a son, Galen Oats of Red Oak; one brother, Billy Joe Oats of Cunningham; two sisters, Betty Jane Roddy of Blossom and Annie Holbert of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; grandchildren; several great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
