the to a which John C. Van Bibber. John C. Van Bibber, who served the Confederate army in the Civil war died at the home of his son James Van Bibber, at Riffe, yesterr day morning. He was born in old Virginia and was 90 years of age Mr. Van Bibber had lived in Lewis county the past 30 years, making home at Chehalis much of the time. Surviving relatives are six sons, Theodore of Fairbanks, Alaska; Ira, of Selkirk, Alaska; James of Riffe; Pat of Chehalis; William of Redlands, Calif., and George of Anstead, W. Va.; also a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Brown of St. Paul, Minn. The body wan brought to the Fissel Funeral Home here.
