Former Resident 1 Dies in Belleville f Friends here have received wor4P of the death of Mrs. Bernice l< Blelker, 60, of Belleville, a formetl resident of Mt. Vernon. Mrs. Bloikcr died last. Thursday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville following an extended illness. illness. She had been a patient at the hospital since April 15. She was born in "Hutchinson, Kansas January 12, .1890, a daughter daughter of the late Thomas and Frances (Logsdon) Heggy. She was married June 1, 1924, In Mt. Vernon, to Emil Blelker. Surviving besides her husband, are two brothers, William and Joseph S. Heggy, both If Evnns- ville, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. Lucillo L. Green of South Gate, Calif, A brother,' Lawrence, preceded preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, the Circle B of the church, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the auxiliary of the Tancred Com- mandery, Knights Templar. Funeral services were held in Belleville yesterday.
