He was crying bitterly for mamma, when Daniel Nolan, of Baltimore Baltimore and Summit avenues saw the little fellow. Picking him up in his arms, he gently inquired who he was and where he lived. But Dan could only get the words Eddie Shaney, o something like that, from the tot. A any rate he took Eddie into his owi home and there he was warmed an given some wikos and hot tea. He tho became a little familiar, but nothhi detinite could be learned who he was Dan took the little feilosv in his arm and started out to hunt the tot's horn Someone told him the lad lived on Har riaon avenue. Dan called at ever bouse on Harrison avenue, but no on had lost a. chubby boy .there. He the walked to nearly the extreme end the Easi ward when he met James Mo- Xamee. who identified the lad as Edward Edward McShane- It did not take long for Dan to place the little chap in his own home. H appeared appeared that his mother had gone to town to do some shopping, and Edward. Edward. Jr., was left with his aunt for a few hours. U was while tho boy was playing with some other children in the yard that he walked off by himself to inspect the town.
