Mrs. Black was licim August 17, 1884 at Jordan, N.Y,, a daughter of Willis E. and Frances (Hall) Rlanchard. She was married December 5, 1911 to Atwell D. Black in Oneonla. Black died January S, 1953. She had lived in Oneonta for 70 years and was a member of the Elm Park Methodist church. Survivint; are two sons, Maurice W. Black. Syracuse, and Russell D. Blaek, Homer; three daughters, Mrs. GeorRiahelle Williams and Miss Helene L. Black, both of 43 Church Street, and Mrs. Harold Wilkins, 450 Chestnut Street; a brother, Carl C. Blanchard, Schencetady; 14 grandchildren; 14 great Brand- children, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience.
