Group Dedicates Gift To Church The Methodist Youth Fellowship of Newton Hamilton recently dedicated a bronze pulpit lamp in memory of Sgt. Alan Bp.rd, who lost his life in the se vice of the country. Everlyn .-lasgow, president of the organization, presented the lamp Lo the ^i.^rch. Carl Randolph, secretary of the board of trustees, a -opted the gift. A special number, "Sad memories," was si.ng at the dedicatory service. Sgt. Bard lost his life in Italy on May 0| >, 1945. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grove Bard of Lewislown, formerly of-the Methodist Training Camp at Newton Hamilton. Bcf re entering the service he was president of the Youth •Fellowship.
