Rites Arranged for Johan A. de Jong Berkeley, Nov 10 - Service will be held Tuesday for Johan August Vanzwell de Jong, 65, retired plantation owner from Java who died last night at a local hospital. A native of the Dutch East Indies, de Jong came to Berkeley in 1922 and made his home at 2108 Shattuck Avenue. He is survived by four children, Lieut. John de Jong, U.S. Navy Warrant Officer Hans de Jong, Marine Corps, Mrs. Ellen Atkinson, and Mrs. Madzy Du Burg. Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. at
