of ward Father Dies When Spelling Is Wrong NEW YORK, Dec. 29--(UP)-Morris Fenyes, 34, beamed proudly as his 11-year-old daughter, .Edith, spelled correctly "scintillating" and all the other hard words in a $5 contest. It began to look as if Edith would win. The announcer called out "silhouette." Edith began, "S-i-1-1." The announcer waved her aside. Fenyes' half rose from his chair, clutched his side, and fell dead.
