Chess Champions Picked At t City Tournament Nine Provo youngsters who think the weighty game of chess is just plain fun recently competed competed in a city-wide recreation department chess tournament. Winners of the three divisions were: Junior, up to 10 years of age, Dennis Trotter, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Trotter; intermediate, 11 to 12, Karl Sorensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen B. Sorensen, and senior, 13vto 14, Nat Mitchell, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert 0. Mitchell. Karl was only 10, but he moved up into the next division to find some competition worthy of his steel.
