Baha'i Harvey Weisberg from Appleton talks at meeting on Praise St.
World peace efforts A survey of world-wide peace movements will be presented Saturday at 7:30 p.m. by Harvey Weisberg, a Baha'i and tele-communications specialist from Appleton, at a meeting sponsored by the Baha'i community of Stevens Point. The public meeting and discussion will be held at 2417 Prais St. and is free of charge. The event is part of a year-long series of discussions sponsored by the local Baha'i community exploring the issue of world peace. to be discussed . In his talk titled "The Peacemakers," Weisberg will also discuss the recent emergence of positive attitudes toward peace education at the grassroots level, and will explore the role of tele-communications and other integrated systems, both technical and moral, in building a foundation for world peace. Weisberg is employed by the Aid Association for Lutherans and is a member of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Appleton.
