Rasmussen-Hartgrove of Vancouver, of supervisor Miss Janice Lynn Hartgrove of Houston became the bride of Marvin Wayne Rasmussen Saturday evening in the chapel of Rice University. The bride is the (laughter of Lt. Cmdr. Albert R. Hartgrove (USN, ret.) of Baltimore and Mrs. Patrick R. McAllister of Victoria. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Wayne Rasmussen, 4633 Jarvis. The bride wore an empire gown of silk organza and peau d'ange lace with long sleeves, a controlled skirt and chapel train. Her full-length mantilla was bordered in matching lace. Miss Scheran Ann Mayberry of Falls Church, Va., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Molly Allday, Miss Joanna I. Scott of Los Ange- les, Miss Carolyn M. Hall Akron and Mrs. Franklin R. Baker of Wilmington, Del. James Rasmussen was best man. Groomsmen were James R. Fonda of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.. Franklin R. Baker of Houston, Roderick Dunn Jr. Cincinnati and Robert Roosth of Tyler. Dawn Christina Hartgrove of Victoria was flower girl. Michael Shawn Hartgrove of Houston was ring bearer. A reception followed at Marriott Motor Hotel, Houston. The couple will live in Houston, where the 'bride is employed by Rice. The groom a graduate student there. The bride was graduated from Peary High School, Rockville, Md., and Rice. The groom is a graduate of Ray High School.
