A lesser known execution that occurred in Juneau, Alaska, which this newspaper refers to as a lynching rather than a legal execution. (It is listed in the Espy Files as a legal execution.) Charley Green (whose name is also spelled "Charlie Green") and a man known only as Boxer were two Native American men who were convicted in a makeshift court of murdering Richard Rainey, a white man.
